Godparent Gifts

As parents of a child that is about to be Baptized, you are faced with a lot of decisions through the course of your planning. Choosing the godparents is by far one of the biggest decisions you make. Thanking them for taking on that large responsibility is also very important and is often forgotten.

A simple thank you may be all that you need, but giving a sentimental gift will make the event much more memorable. What I often suggest is to go with something personalized with the child's name and the baptism date. A personalized frame or plaque may do the trick. Other suggestions may be a cross or even a piece of jewelry.

While godparent gifts do not have to be grandiose, you should remember to thank the godparents who will play a significant role in your child's Christian upbringing.
